I obtained the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award in November 1965 when I lived in Singapore. I was a very keen swimmer so this was my pursuit of choice. I went on an adventure trip through the jungles of Singapore as part of the award process. The photo shows me at the end of my jungle trip having swum through leech infested rivers with the monsoon rain pouring throughout the trip ,,,, hence the mud! Great memories! I was Margaret McDonald Yates at the time.
