It is with sadness that I write this message, the DofE and the scheme that he championed through all of us participating and achieving is a wonderful to carry on his legacy.

I have been inspired, educated and been given skills that otherwise I would never have gained.

I thank the DofE, the patron and those who acted on his guidance.

I am looking forward to the person who carries on his legacy, as I am sure that they have already been advised and mentored to do so.

May he rest in peace.
