I completed all three awards many years ago. I nearly gave up after each one, it was hard. I’m so glad I didn’t, I persisted and it taught me to rise to the challenge and you can actually have fun at the same time. I look back now with fondness and I had some amazing experiences especially during expeditions and the residential. I was so proud to take my Mum to St James’ palace to receive my Gold.
My daughter has since gone on to complete her Bronze and Silver award and hopefully she will take me to receive Her Gold award. Thank you for the opportunity.
