Throughout the Gold D of E Award so far, I have created many fond memories with some amazing people that I otherwise wouldn’t have met. I have developed numerous skills, like sign language, which I can’t wait to improve and use in the future when I go to university or when I go travelling.
One story that stands out was when during a small practice, it began to rain and we started to slip in the mud. We ended up not making it up the hill and became a laughing bundle at the bottom of the hill but it is a funny memory that brought us closer as a team.
