I’m so grateful for the Duke of Edinburgh Award and all of the amazing memories I have from it. I’ve done Bronze and Silver and am hoping to complete Gold next year. It genuinely changed my life. When joining the award I was particularly shy with very little confidence and looking back this award helped me gain so much confidence. I did things I never imagined myself doing and found passions. I have some of the fondest memories from the expedition s and will never forget the laughs shared. The friendships made are also some of my closest friends still 3 years later. I remember the fear the first time we had to cross a field full of cows, what an experience. I will always be grateful for the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
