Although I didn’t complete my award I learnt a lot about myself during the sections I did complete. I helped out at Brownies and enjoyed it so much that I went on to become a teacher. Prince Philip came to our school in 1973 to visit new centres for the award. I remember being very excited about meeting him. So much so that I can’t remember what he said!!
