I feel privileged to have seen The Duke many times and witnessed his interactions with young people and supporters which were always energetic and light-hearted. He engaged everyone he met and put them at ease. Whether introduced to a celebrity or a school pupil, he found a conversation starter and made an effort to connect. Everywhere he went, the warmth towards HRH was palpable. The Duke was a great character who will be missed.
