Treasured memories of being Musical Director for School Live Arts Wales and meeting Prince Philip when he attended our performance of the Pied Viper in St David’s Hall Cardiff November 2002 as part of his Biennial General Council for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Wales.
At the Performance delegates were entertained by a truly magnificent musical concert with the culmination of work involving over 800 young people from all over Wales. A series of residential experiences giving them opportunities to be enlightened and alerted to the dangers of solvent abuse and drugs as well as a sense of achievement and a great deal of fun, culminating with this concert and the message ‘Stop before you Start’ which hopefully has had a positive and lasting effect on everyone involved.
