It was April 1987 ..I was on my bronze expedition, I was 14 almost 15. I met a 17 year old lad... he was in his gold practice. We both clicked and married in 1997. We now have two children, the oldest is mid bronze (pandemic not helped) youngest wants to do it as soon as he is old enough. We both finished our bronzes and did the expeditions to gold, we have walked and camped ever since. Heading to Shetland this summer for more adventures. My family aren't walkers I'd never been to the dales or lakes without it. We would never have met without D of E.. Grateful. Thanks
