Myself, then Karen Fairweather, my twin sister Lisa Fairweather and school best friend Tracey Hughes nee Green did our Bronze award and trained for our silver but due to issues with school staff leaving etc, never got to complete it.
The training expeditions were often as intense as the real thing. We experienced the Gower peninsula, the Peak district and the New Forest and meet peers from other schools.

The memories will always bring smiles and great pride.

The three of us were the smallest kids in the group and many staff predicted we wouldn't finish. We actually completed it and won the challenge set by our teachers.
