Some of my memories of doing the Duke of Edinburgh award revolves around the charity work for the volunteering section. I enjoyed doing this section because I was able to help out and meet other people. I also enjoyed doing the skill section as I play the piano, and I progressed a well with my ability to play the piano. I have completed the award, although I haven’t been able to do the Expedition due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

I am saddened by the Duke of Edinburgh’s passing, but I am proud that I’ve had the honour of completing this award, and being able to have the certificate.
