I was well travelled doing my D of E, completed my bronze in Crawley Girls Brigade, my silver in Horsham GB and my Gold completed in Perth, Scotland as one of the few that got a six month extension following major surgery, and went on to be presented at Holyrood by Evelyn Glennie, the Scottish percussionist and a chat with Philip himself. Pictured with a very dear friend and officer who saw me through it all and came to Holyrood with me too. Great times and great memories.
