I did my bronze award in 1979 at an all girls boarding school in Suffolk. At that time the girls weren’t allowed to camp out overnight which we thought was very unfair. We enjoyed day hikes in Tunstall and Rendlesham Forest. We did our voluntary/community service at the fire station which was very exciting. Fond memories of doing the various elements of the award and a sense of achievement on completing it.
