Across Bronze, Silver and Gold, I wrote a book in three parts, publishing it online as part of my final achievement for Gold. Without the DofE Award, I would probably have never had the motivation to create a book, but I was encouraged to set a time every week where I could work for at least an hour and update my Assessor on my progress. I had no idea when I began Bronze that by the time I had finished Gold I would have done all this, but I'm grateful that I made the decision back then to begin my journey.
