I completed my Bronze Award during lockdown! I’m currently half-way through silver! It’s been such a memorable and eye opening experience! When I signed up for Bronze the expedition was the most appealing and then I realised it’s helped me to grow in confidence, strive in initiatives and meet so many amazing people! My bronze expedition sadly took place in lockdown meaning we had to stand off the sleeping! It was the most memorable experience! The highlight of my expedition was as we returned to cook our evening meal before returning home to sleep, one of our teammates mess Tin got ran over by an upcoming car!!
The expedition as a whole taught me valuable skills, such as map reading and team work.


DofE has been truly amazing so far. Hopefully get my silver award and move on to gold!!
