The DofE award gave me some of the best experiences of my teenage years both abroad and in the UK.
I still reminisce and have fond memories of the grueling but fun expeditions hiking and camping all around the UK.
I will never forget getting chased by the bulls and sheep, getting lost in the middle of nowhere, the blisters, the laughter, fun and lasting friendships gained and the Gold Award ceremony at St James palace, getting to meet the Duke himself!
I would like to thank the award for giving me characteristics of strength, confidence, perseverance and appreciation for nature and the outdoors that have served me well in my adult life.
