Completing my Duke of Edinburgh bronze award while at school was such an opportunity for me. I hadn't truly pushed myself before that point, and all sections not just the physical presented new challenges. It encouraged me to engage more in sports, contribute to my community through volunteering and practice my musical instrument more. I am autistic, and usually I avoid such things, but through DofE, I managed to achieve more than I thought I could.
