I’m going to be honest, my DofE experience was an interesting one, there were upsets and arguments and we got lost a few times, but I also learnt valuable skills like teamwork, map reading and resilience. Not only that, I got to spend two full days in the country side. I loved the volunteering, as it was a chance to give back to my community in a way that I am passionate about. I also learnt a new skill in calligraphy which I still enjoy two years later. I learnt a lot about myself doing the award, and I wouldn’t change it for anything.
