I was lucky enough to complete all 3 of my Duke of Edinburgh Awards and meet the Duke at his final ever D of E awards ceremony in 2017 at Holyrood Palace. My friends and I alike will always reminisce on memories made during our expeditions and I have no doubt my achievements during the scheme have helped my career to date.
I feel very lucky to have met the Duke at such a poignant ceremony and am proud to be able to share these memories to contribute to his legacy.
