The Duke of Edinburgh award has given me memories that will last a lifetime, in addition to building my confidence by pushing me out of my comfort zone.

From helping to build a school in Malawi to climbing a Munro with one of my best friends alongside an amazing group of people, I am so glad that I chose to complete the award and had so much fun along the way! The work ethic I gained whilst completing the word by being encouraged to never give up when things are challenging prepared me so well for my time at university and the world of work.

I would definitely encourage anyone who has the opportunity to complete the award to go for it!
