To the Duke of Edinburgh. Thank you for the award scheme. The fun, laughter, friendships and challenges, of the scheme made me who I am today. I still draw on the determination I needed to get through the scheme, in challenging times now. Like the moto of his school, the scheme does teach us that there is more within us. Because of the scheme I also attended an Outward Bound 1 week course which was also life changing.
