Hannah Cambe

I completed my Bronze Award at school in 2006. I gained more confidence in leading others and making decisions. The skills I learnt helped me gain part time employment during my final year at school.

Fast forward about 13 years, I'm a DofE Expedition Supervisor and Assessor for the college I teach at. As a staff volunteer, I've learnt lots about the work that goes on behind the scenes.

It's wonderful to see young adults strive to achieve their Awards- gaining new skills, developing existing skills and making new friends.

The Duke of Edinburgh helped so many young people grow, realise their potential and carve positive futures.
May his legacy continue for years to come.
