I found my Bronze practice expedition quite a challenge but the Bronze qualifying expedition was really enjoyable and this made me do Silver as well. My Silver expeditions were really fun and I spent time with new people which was really nice. It was also a nice break in the pandemic. Overall DofE has made me more independent and I have lots of happy (and funny) memories from my expeditions, involving falling in the mud and setting the grass on fire whilst cooking! I am currently doing Gold DofE and look forward to doing my canoeing expedition. I am so grateful that I have had the opportunity to do DofE and to the Duke of Edinburgh for setting it up!
