One of my favourite memories was my Bronze D of E. Spending time with my friends, I learnt so many skills and developed so much as a person. I became more confident, independent and brave. I learnt to work better with my group and push myself where I would not have pushed myself before. I learnt to put my fear and apprehension aside and participate in things that we’re out of my comfort zone. It is an opportunity that truly changed me for the better, and I thank the Duke of Edinburgh for this experience. It is one that many young people can enjoy, learn from and reflect on, while building strong skills and relationships.
