I will forever be grateful to the Duke of Edinburgh for the opportunity to complete both my Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.

I learnt many skills, developed my confidence and challenged myself. The scheme allowed me to continue helping the GirlGuiding community whilst achieving my Leadership Award. It enabled me to meet wonderful people and occasionally get lost on an expedition. Overall, the scheme challenges you incredibly, but holds so many memories that I will forever cherish.

I hope the Award continues to offer many more young people such incredible opportunities and the resilience to pursue their dreams.
