The Duke Of Edinburgh Award expedition, I would say, is one of the most defining moments of my adolescence. Nearly breaking my ankle during our practice expedition, my friend ending day 2 covered in blisters and horses grazing next to our tent as we slept. My DofE experience was certainly unique, but with the friends I made and skills I acquired, I wouldn’t change it for the world.
