When I did my expedition I had just joined a new Explorer Scout Group and my DofE group was filled with people I didn’t know. But we all soon became friends, bonding over the silliest things and just laughing lots. I wasn’t a very confident person and having both expeditions in the pouring rain made me find some inner strength that I’d never seen before. I now feel as though I can take on any challenge and that’s all thanks to DofE!
