I completed all three awards in the Lake District. It was my biggest achievement to have completed both expeditions for the Gold Awardand all other sections of the award while in Year 13.

Due to length of the sections required it meant that being able to complete these while still at school was a task I really had to be proactive about in order to have it completed while still at school. Many manage the expedition but, do not get the other sections done in time before they leave.

Both expeditions for my Gold award tested me mentally and physically. They taught me I am stronger than I think and to push myself more because, I can do it.

I take great pride in saying I completed it and I am honoured to have been part of this wonderful award.
