DofE has undoubtedly been one of the best experiences I have ever had; I have many fond memories of my time during DofE.

Most importantly, the award made me realise that, with a positive mindset, grit and determination, anything is possible. The award has shaped me as a person and inspired me to embark on future life adventures.

The award inspired me to volunteer with a charity that supports children living with a range of disabilities to swim. Empowering these children is the highlight of my week and, if it were not for DofE, I would not have had this rewarding experience.

I believe DofE has enabled me to grow in ways I never imagined were possible and it is for this reason that I will be forever grateful to HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.
