The Dofe award holds so many amazing memories for me and the others around me such as my friends and family who have also been involved either completing their own award or helping out. I will cherish the memories the Dofe award has helped me to create. It has helped me to improve my confidence, communication skills as well as gain new ones. Additionally, it has challenged me showing my determination and strength to be able to complete the awards which are both physically and mentally challenging. As an ambassador for my school and sixth form and a current participant completing my gold award (already completed bronze and silver) I would never change my experiences for the world especially with my friend on the many expeditions we have been on and the friends I made in my residential.
