I loved all three of my awards. Each expedition was a mountain of laughter. I remember a teammate ate her entire stash of snacks for gold in the first half an hour. Another made the bold decision to not shower on the final day, that way his family could truly smell the hard work endured when he got home.

Every section propels your confidence across a range of life skills. I especially loved volunteering for so long, and being inspired by everyone I met along the way.

I miss looking forward to an expedition so much.

I cannot wait to return to the Lake District and climb the same mountains, where no one trek is the same.
