We got lost on 1 of our walks and ended up at the top of a quarry with the only way to go being down. I only made it to the Silver award but wish I had carried on the do Gold. The expeditions were definitely my favourite part and got me into walking. Now I've ticked off Everest Basecamp, Kilimanjaro, Kinabalu and numerous UK Mountains including the 3 peaks and it's all because of DofE and the amazing instructors; Marcus Gough, Janet Patterson and Richard Beaumont.
