D of E was such a special event to have taken part in. I got to know many of my existing friends on a whole new level, met new people that I cherish and found passions that I hope to bring with me throughout my life. I seem to spend hours talking to friends of mine about the stories and experiences found who did their own D of E expeditions separate to me. There is common ground and warmth to be shared through this scheme and it has made me so much more grateful for each opportunty I have given.
