DOFE is the reason I began volunteering at the local falconry centre to help care for birds of prey. Volunteering there is now one of the highlights of my week, and I've learnt so much about how to care for wild and captive bred birds of prey, as well as meeting some incredibly talented people! Without DOFE I never would have even considered volunteering there, and so I feel very grateful to DOFE for giving me the opportunity to learn new skills, help others, and make a difference in my local area.
