I started as a teacher volunteer with DofE and over the years became a leader, then coordinator, then manager of all three levels. While hard at times it was invaluable experience and I love getting to know my students in a completely different capacity and seeing them grow as they work through the levels ending with some of my gold participants completing their volunteering as an integral part of the Bronze leadership team. So many great memories over the last 10 years and many more years to look forward to. Such a great opportunity for so many young people!
