Where can I start about the DofE. Doing the bronze and silver award teaches you so much about yourself and how team work makes the dream work.
The silver expedition I was on happened in the new forest and it was a struggle however it was also one of my favourite memories. Me and my mates bonded and became even closer friends. We got out smarted by the map and ended up in a bog field which wasn’t fun at the time however we now look back and just laugh at it.
Someone on our haul brought some steak and had steak and chips which was impressed and tasted really good proving that camp food isn’t just pasta.
I would strongly encourage everyone to do bronze at least as it teaches you so much and is an amazing adventure.
