I feel privileged and honoured to have had the opportunity to complete the Bronze, Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award whilst at school. The social skills I learnt and developed through volunteering have made me the person I am today. The expeditions (including a Gold DofE Qualifying expedition in Picos de Europa) inspired me to go onto complete a degree in Geography and undertake a range of exciting expeditions since. Furthermore, I recently took over the role of DofE Manager at two schools and am delighted to now be able to offer those same opportunities to hundreds of students.
