I absolutely loved the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. I have completed my bronze and silver awards and enjoyed them both so much. I volunteered in charity shops for the volunteering section of the award and really enjoyed it as I felt I was giving back to my community. It also really helped me to build my confidence and helped me with my customer service skills which I use in my current job. I had the best time on the expeditions. We climed a really steep hill which was almost vertical and I felt so accomplished once I reached the top. It was the best feeling. I also finally learnt how to read a map after so long having no clue how to! It was such an incredible experience and so rewarding finally receiving the reward and being able to look back on all of the memories.
