Having chosen to help a friend as a cub leader for my service, thus helping countless other children, I remain now, 30 years later, as a scout leader again, helping more children learn skills for life.

Hiking as part of my expedition led to a love of the hills and later 10+ years in Mountain Rescue, volunteering.

I learned a lot about giving by those leaders giving their time to me and I continue to give back today, and see, more young people grow into fantastic adults, some themselves, volunteering now.
