I was Chair of the Croydon DoFE for 16years, a founder of the City of London project, a member of the working party to establish and create the Award into Business materials .

My introduction into the Award by Wayne Wregglesworth the London Coordinator gave me much satisfaction coupled with an insight to how the Award was and is such a fantastic organisation for not only UK youth but so many countries in the world.

I met his Royal Highness on many occasions usually at the biannual get togethers for the Award. I was very impressed with his belief in the Award, openness to change, but coupled with realism that the Award should not bend to every nuance that was not part of his vision.

I am proud to have been a part of the Award, proud 4 of my 5 grandchildren have been participants two of them Gold
