The Duke of Edinburgh Award has been a big part of making memories in my life starting from the age of 14 and completing it at 19 and collecting my award at Buckingham palace. It had its ups and downs but as an experience it’ll be one I never forget and always have fond memories of. It introduced my to activities and sports and never would’ve tried and made me builder stronger bonds and connections with people. I completed my Gold expedition canoeing in Scotland and we had the BEST weather and I would do it all over again! Very grateful for the experiences DofE provided for me over the years :) Mrs Spooner my leader is an absolute legend and the best at what she does!
