Taking part in the award helped me tackle my demons and build self esteem, all whilst giving back to my local community. The DofE program is fantastic, although the COVID-19 Pandemic prevented me from completing my Bronze award, I intend on taking part and this time completing the silver award next September.
I along side DofE am a cadet, a police cadet specifically and the DofE contributed toward my skill set for that, so it helped me in practical ways for my career also.
Anyone at all who is willing to give up the time should take part in DofE it is life changing and nothing compares. Thank you and my condolences to the royal family.
