DofE expeditions really do bring out the best in people! On my silver expedition in 2016 we got terribly lost, eventually arriving at our campsite as it was getting dark. The other groups in our party had arrived hours before us, but as soon as they saw us coming into view they sprang into action. One group pitched our tents for us while another group started cooking our evening meal. Setting up camp only took 20 minutes thanks to them and we were all in our sleeping bags by nightfall!
