I loved the experience of completing my Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh awards! When starting my Bronze award I began coaching at a local junior football club and enjoyed it so much I continued to do so once I had completed both awards. Doing this gave me the experience to get an Easter and Summer holiday job as a youth activities coordinator at a holiday club in Madeira, which gave me the chance to travel and explore more of the world. This then gave me the relevant work experience to get a part time job as a youth worker at The Dunblane Centre which I have whilst studying my Sports and Business degree at The University of Stirling. If I had never completed my Duke of Edinburgh award I would have never got the experience to get to where I am today. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity.
