DofE helped me push myself to new limits and realize my potential. It allowed me to help so many through volunteering with local cancer charity ChemoHero, whom I have continued to volunteer with ever since and have become a second family to me. During the expeditions we had many highs and lows (literally and figuratively!!) which allowed bonds between our team to strengthen and new friendships to be made. Overall DofE has greatly improved my life and I'm so glad I did it and so thankful to His Royal Highness for establishing it.
