I started doing DofE when I was 13, at school working towards Bronze. From there I started to volunteer at my local Scout Group for 3 months....
Well 8 years later I am still there as a Beaver Leader and looking forward to help expand the group with the new early years section.
DofE helped me so much with my confidence, teamwork, team leadership to name a few. Achieving Gold DofE honesty made my year a few years ago especially completing it a few days after finishing my GCSEs it was amazing and I have never looked back from signing that bit of paper at the end of a school assembly so long ago.
