I started air rifle shooting as my skill for my Bronze D of E Award. I love it so much that I’m still doing it three years later. I might never have started if it wasn’t for the D of E. The expedition was very grueling because it was in the middle of a heatwave but I also had fun and made some great friends. We got lost on the first day so we had to walk for two and half hours extra to get to camp but we never gave up. I am hoping to do the silver D of E to when I go to college.
