Great appreciation to the Duke for this great initiative. I participated in the Kenya offshoot of the scheme-- the Presidents Award Scheme and I feel very honored to have completed the Bronze and Silver Awards. It is later in life that I realised the special benefits of going through this scheme-- determination to succeed, resiliance, team work, striving for excellence and being supportive to others. I am convinced that I owe a lot of my success in life in part due to this scheme.
