Involved with the scheme since 1973 . Started the scheme of at my first school in Blackburn. Then moved on to Kirkley High school Lowestoft where it became a big part of my life having about 50 new participants starting per year with the best year 1981 having 14 Golds. Wh I moved back north I became a gold award assessor's the Cumbriabpanel until 2002. Brilliant scheme fantastic memories and friends.
