I can still remember my silver DofE expedition, it was late November and we were walking through the Brecon Beacons, at about 4pm we were all starting to give up, it was cold, wet and icy as we got closer to the peak of Pen y fan we were all miserable and honestly just exhausted. But there is one moment I will forever remember: getting to the peak at about 4:30pm, the sun was setting and we got the most stunning view and there were tears, primarily of joy. That moment has stayed with me and will forever stay with me- no matter what physical challenges lie ahead, that was a turning point in my life and from then I have tried my utmost to be the most resilient individual that i can be,
